gamelicense.org
gamelicense.org is an open canonical index of game license rights issued on public blockchains. Listings — including platform keys, downloadable content, tradable game items, and transferable entitlements — exist as on-chain records on supported networks. This site indexes them; multiple frontends can surface them.
How it works
Publishers issue license rights as on-chain tokens via a public smart contract. Each token has self-describing metadata: the underlying product, the redemption surface, transferability rules, and refund window. The on-chain record is the canonical listing.
gamelicense.org provides the open index and SDK. Any frontend — including consumer marketplaces, streamer integrations, aggregators, or third-party catalogs — can read the same data and surface the same listings.
Why this matters
- Publishers list once; every viewer surfaces the listing.
- Buyers' license rights persist independently of any individual frontend.
- The canonical record is public, verifiable, and auditable.
- Secondary trading routes royalties to publishers on-chain, by design.
Status
v1 is in active development. First publisher pilots are inbound. Open SDK and reference frontend will be published when the v1 contract is audited and live on its target network.
